After building a successful career at ALT For Living and Eskayel, Samuel Richards founded SR Home with a vision: to create beautiful, high-quality textiles, rugs, and wallcoverings that reflect both aesthetic sophistication and a deep commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Grounded in years of experience in the design trade and shaped by an MBA in Sustainable Innovation from the University of Vermont, Samuel integrates sustainability into every aspect of the business, from responsible sourcing to lifecycle analysis. His work with Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) and other mission-driven organizations continues to guide SR Home’s approach to ethical production and long-term impact.

At SR Home, we’re serious about design, but never too serious to have a little fun with it. We believe beauty should be thoughtful, elevated, and infused with a sense of joy.

A portion of our proceeds supports The Trevor Project, dedicated to ending suicide among LGBTQ+ youth.
